Guidelines to Parents

  • Parents are the first teachers. It is hoped that they will instill in children respect for the teacher and moral values.
  • Parents are requested to send the children in proper school uniform with the required books. (Refer to the section on school uniform)
  • Any parent desirous to meet any pupil or teacher on any business should meet the Principal first, who will if necessary arrange for the meeting. (No parent is allowed into any classroom).
  • Parents are requested to abide by the rules of the school.
  • Parents are requested not to send their wards to school if they happen to suffer from infectious/contagious diseases. When they return to school, a fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner should be produced.
  • Parents are requested to go through the DIARY regularly and sign it.
  • Parents are requested to pay the school fees regularly. The previous term receipt must be presented each time the fees are paid to avoid errors and waste of time.
  • Parents who bring their children to school are requested to reach the School atleast 10 minutes before the First bell in the morning at 9.15 a.m.
  • If a parent wants to take the child during the school hours, an outpass MUST be obtained from the Principal/Office.
  • No pocket money is to be given to children for buying snacks, play things etc.
  • Parent can meet the principal on all working days (with prior appointment) preferably between 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm only to know about the progress of their wards.
  • No Change in date of birth or commission or omission in the name will be accepted once admission cards are prepared.
  • Parents are requested to ensure that their wards copy the written work done in the school, during the time of their leave of absence.
  • Transfer certificates will be issued only on written request by parent/guardian (A week's notice is essential for the same) if any other person is authorized to collect the transfer certificate on behalf of the parent, an authorization is essential. The signature of the person must be attested by the parent/guardian.
