Our School
Oxford Matriculation Higher Secondary School based in Kongalnagaram, Udumalpet Taluk is one of the high-profiled, academically comprehensive institutions. Having completed 32 years, it has consistently managed to balance both academic excellence and co-curricular achievements. The school is accommodated in a building with excellent infrastructure and complementary facilities. The school is fringed by a big playground. Well equipped science labs and computer labs highlight the interest of the management. The school has smart class as an integral part of its teaching methodology. Supportive activities like yoga and Silambam with an exclusive space accorded for it. A qualified sensitive and student friendly staff create a secure learning atmosphere. The Management comprising of the Correspondent, Principal, Vice Principal and different Incharges for each level consolidate the rock-like foundation of the institution. Consequently, the institution is symbolic of an efficiently run, clockwork- punctual organization, devoted to the cause of education.
The curriculum at all levels is flexible and incorporates latest trends in the dynamic education scenario. The curriculum prepares our students to meet the demands of modern day education enabling all round development to face global challenges.

‘Icons and Figureheads’ live upto others’ expectations. One such iconic personality who made and continues to make an impact on many lives is the Correspondent of Oxford.
He is a suave family man, strangely simplistic and serene in his attitude, a communicative, forthright, tactful and dynamic enigma. Conservations with him defy the timeline that one could sit for hours and still be interested to continue. A multi- Linguistic, his interests run from the academic curriculum to sports to music to cultural activities to everything and anything. His demeanour and humility demand and deserve courtesy. His concern for his staff and their family, the youth at large makes a mockery of the whim that ‘The great seldom smile’. Meetings with him, mean not only business but also small talk and rapport-building. The blatant truth would be that teachers, ever in the most dire of situations rarely reinstate a wish to resign, after a meeting.

Your progenies are the life and breath of Oxford. They pulsate with vibrancy, vivacity and vigour which rejuvenates our age-old institution, renewing its energy and enthusiasm. Their responsibility is a pleasurable and sweet one, which my staff and I happily endure. We, as an institution avow to live up to every expectation with sincerity and dedication, As the leader of this movement called ‘Oxford’ I promise (with the co-operation of my staff) to cherish and enhance the blossoming buds that you have entrusted to us, such that they flourish as future citizens, complete with moral, social, emotional, physical and psychological faculties, developed to the optimum. In their success as well- adjusted individuals, lies our glory. We hope you continue to co-operate and involve yourselves in the multi-farious and multi-faceted progression of both your ward and our institution.
